£27,285 to £28,936 (PhD nearing completion)
£29,799 to £38,833 (PhD Awarded/significant and substantial relevant experience)

The project “EconoMical, PsycHologicAl and Societal Impact of RanSomware (EMPHASIS)” seeks a highly skilled and motivated individual to perform data analysis (machine learning) over data pertaining to Ransomware. You will work with researchers from Newcastle University, Leeds University, University of Kent, De Montfort University and City University to identify patterns and analyse documents pertaining to Ransomware.

You will execute the machine learning agenda of the project with focus on developing methods for:

  • The analysis of textual documents collected from and pertaining to
  • Ransomware Identification of patterns and trends within data captured about ransomware.

The post is available fixed term for 21 months and is full time.
