The Digital Experience Project Manager role combines specialist knowledge of the University’s business and academic processes with solid systems and project management skills to co-ordinate the delivery of system solutions that meet the needs of the University. The role supports the delivery of the annual strategic digital investment programme providing project management skills to deliver specific strategic digital projects.

This role will need to work closely with staff across the University to analyse their business processes and requirements and translate this to technical colleagues in IT Services and to external software providers to ensure that needs of individual business units are met, but in such a way that the University as a whole will benefit from consistent practices. You will have knowledge and experience of project methodologies and be able to demonstrate a track record of achieving project objectives and working to deadlines. You will be able to work in a consulting style, demonstrating objectivity coupled with excellent inter-personal skills.

You will be an experienced Project Manager with experience of delivering large-scale change involving IT and changes in ways of working with a user focused approach.

You will have experience of stakeholder management at senior levels and can demonstrate key skills such as leading meetings, workshop facilitation, communicating ideas clearly and persuasively, and can present compelling arguments to influence and negotiate satisfactory outcomes.
