The department of Psychology is a vibrant, research active team of professionals with expertise covering a diverse range of Psychological studies. We are an inclusive department encouraging and involving our students’ participation in research to develop highly skilled, knowledgeable and employment ready graduates.

We have clear enthusiasm for developing programmes that offer students meaningful engagement within psychological science. Our course programmes are approved and accredited by the British Psychological Society underpinned by a strong organisational structure and inclusive ethos, which greatly enhances the student experience and this is reflected in our exceptional NSS results and the large numbers of applications that we receive year on year.

You will be required to teach across the British Psychological Society (BPS) core topic areas at postgraduate and undergraduate level, with a particular focus on postgraduate developmental psychology.

You will have eligibility for Chartered Membership with the BPS and will have a PhD in a psychology related area. Active engagement with research and evidence of publications are essential requirements for this post.
