An opportunity has created for three Student Retention Data Advisers to join our Student and Academic Services Division on a fixed term basis. Working with the University’s Student Success Teams this role will support the improvement of continuation and graduation rates of all students. Providing detailed analysis and insight into student retention, graduation rates, and students’ risk of unemployment and underemployment, the post holder will: (1) help Student Success Teams determine the focus of their work, and (2) provide a clear picture for each of the University’s three academic Colleges of their respective performance as regards retention, wellbeing and student employability.

To be considered for one of these positions, you will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have broad experience in the design and development of management information reports and specialist knowledge of reporting applications and tools. You will have familiarity with issues facing student retention and continuation and the ability to apply this to a wide range of data in a robust way, including making recommendations on courses of action. In addition, you will have experience of working with data in a university environment and will have the ability to analyse information and produce consistent and coherent reports.
