To prepare for the University’s growth in student numbers we are embarking upon an exciting period of new development and modernisation of the campus.

Reporting to the Director of Estates and Facilities, the post holder will be responsible for leading the development of the University’s estate and buildings portfolio. Key facets of the role being leadership of the estates strategy and master planning; capital programme delivery; space and property management; and strategic maintenance planning and delivery. The post holder will also act as the Deputy to the Director of Estates and Facilities, with particular responsibility for leading on cross divisional initiatives and performance standards.

The successful candidate will possess a degree in a relevant construction and property related subject or relevant chartered professional membership; and have proven experience of leading capital development programmes and projects across technically complex estate portfolios. It is anticipated that you will have strategic planning experience preferably across the areas of master planning, capital programme delivery and property management. Given the strong leadership requirements of the role it is expected that prospective candidates will have proven team leadership experience and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
