Health Professions is a large multi-disciplinary department covering the areas of Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Advanced Practice in Health and Social care, Sports and Exercise Medicine and Nutritional Sciences.

Our award winning academic staff deliver a first class education experience to all students, whether undergraduate, postgraduate or post registration and maintain links with practice and professional bodies.

You will teach on undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes to develop effective independent learners, leading and developing quality programmes that embed employability to ensure student success. You will undertake research, knowledge exchange, and other scholarly activities to contribute to the development of new areas in the relevant subject field, delivering commercial enterprise activity where appropriate.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed and innovative physiotherapy team in the Department of Health Professions.

You should hold a physiotherapy qualification recognised by the HCPC and have experience of delivering physiotherapy education in a higher education institution. Knowledge of issues affecting physiotherapy and the wider health and social care agenda, evidence of CPD and a Master’s Degree are essential attributes.
