Applications for this position are sought from candidates with research and teaching experience in the area of Romantic and Nineteenth-Century Literature. Essential attributes include:

  • Excellent teaching skills, evidenced through student results and feedback, as well as an interest in innovative approaches to learning and assessment.
  • The ability to plan curricula which will engage and inspire a diverse and international student cohort.
  • Strong and coherent research plans, coupled with a track record of publication with highly-rated academic presses and in peer reviewed journals.
  • A willingness to share in the work of the Division and Department, by taking on administrative roles (such as admissions, web or placements coordinator) as needed.

Applicants should hold a PhD or be near completion.

You will be expected to participate in at least one of the College research centres, Entrepreneurship and Sustainability and Global Lives, or a University Research Institute.
