Salary:

Research Assistant Level A: £32,380 – £34,040 per annum

Research Associate Level B: £36,800 – £44,220 per annum

Campus: Charing Cross Hospital Campus, Hammersmith

NIHR CLAHRC Northwest London (NWL) has been established for seven years and is currently at the mid-point of its second phase of funding. The aim of CLAHRC NWL is to facilitate and accelerate the translation of research innovations into practice across northwest London.

The post holders will work as part of a team to provide high quality research advice to medical research staff and students in the Faculty of Medicine and across NHS institutions in NW London, and to contribute to the development and delivery of short courses. The post is suitable for a researcher with expertise in medical statistics, health services research, qualitative research methods or mixed methods research.

The post requires an MSc or equivalent in epidemiology, statistics or public health - (for appointment to Research Assistant) or PhD or equivalent in mathematics, statistics, health services research or a related discipline. The postholder will also require substantial experience of applied health or mixed methods research.

The posts are full-time and fixed-term until 31 December 2018 in the first instance and will be based at the Charing Cross Campus, Hammersmith.
