Lecturer in Clinical Psychology (Part Time)

This part time (18.5 hours per week) post is available to teach on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology as well as undergraduate and post-graduate level, to undertake research in the area of Clinical Psychology in line with the School’s research strategy, and to contribute to School administration/outreach activities.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a professional qualification in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • Be eligible for HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Have an under graduate degree in Psychology or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant research experience.
  • Have strong theoretical and empirical background in clinical psychology.
  • Have research experience in clinical psychology.
  • Have research interests that are sustainable and that complement and enhance existing research activities within the School.
  • Have the ability to produce outputs from work and publications or publication plan for research in peer reviewed journals commensurate with stage of career
  • Have experience of teaching and supervision of clinical psychology trainees.
  • Be able to contribute to the design of modules, curriculum development and new teaching/assessment approaches.
  • (When completing the application, individuals must provide information on their teaching experience, including degree programme, class size, type of teaching (e.g. lectures, tutorials).

Salary scale: £46,164 – £57,069 per annum
