A Research Associate vacancy is available in the Inflammation Group, in the group of Dr Marion Bonnet. The group is focused on understanding the role of cell death in inflammatory diseases, with special emphasize on skin and joint inflammation, using a combination of molecular and cellular biology approaches, in vivo models and clinical studies.

The successful candidate will join a recently established group to participate in a MRC-funded project studying the contribution and regulation of programmed necrosis pathways in the onset of inflammatory diseases. Specifically, they will use in vivo models of skin and joint inflammation, and techniques such immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy and live cell imaging. A background in innate immunity and/or inflammation/cytokine biology is preferred and previous experience with in vivo experimental models and cell biology is essential.

This post is a full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term for a period of 3 years.
