The Cambridge International School managed by the Taleb Group based in Doha, Qatar invites application from competent qualified applicants to teach English at IGCE, AS, and A Level. Eligibility: Applicants must have an education degree in any relevant discipline with teaching qualification and experience of teaching in IGCE, AS, and A Level. We encourage candidates with ideally 2-year experience in teaching. Newly qualified teachers may apply as long as they can demonstrate excellent communication and subject-specific skills.

Remuneration package: We offer an excellent salary ranging from US$1785 to US$4120 circa, commensurate with qualification and experience. Other benefits include free health insurance and single bedroom furnished accommodation for the post holders. You are entitled to 30 days annual leave in addition to authorised leave of absence due to exceptional circumstances or medical emergencies.

Responsibilities and duties: As a highly motivated, experienced and hardworking teacher at Cambridge International School, you will:

  1. Inspire and enthuse our students, and manage and deliver an outstanding and enriched curriculum;
  2. Raise the standards and rating of our school by demonstrating leadership skills;
  3. Help students increase their confidence and achieve their full academic potential;
  4. Provide pastoral support to students ensuring equal opportunities and without any form of discrimination;
  5. Report to the head of the department and head teacher on assigned tasks and responsibilities;
  6. Contribute to staff meetings and be prepared to take responsible roles;
  7. Work independently and in small teams;
  8. Respect and adhere the rules and regulations of our school.
