3 year Fixed Term Contract

This post will offer comprehensive administrative support to the Education Support Function within the College of Engineering & Physical Sciences and provide a service to the students & academic staff within the range of programmes offered.

Based in a School, the post holder will develop a specialist knowledge of timetabling and examination processes in addition to programmes in their area and develop a wide range of skills both technical and administrative to ensure excellent customer service is provided.

The post holder will work within a team of administrators who share responsibility for the activities in hand, but will lead on timetabling and examinations in an allocated School.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and be able to deal effectively with professional and academic colleagues.

They should have significant experience of working within a busy multifunctional environment and be able to prioritise workloads to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

The candidate should be educated to at least ‘A’ level standard or equivalent, and have a minimum C grade in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.

Starting salary is normally in the range £19,156 to £20,514 with potential progression once in post to £25,009 a year
