About Anglia Ruskin University:

Anglia Ruskin is a vibrant workplace and our University is gaining prominence both nationally and internationally. We have ambitious plans for the future and we are determined that our students and staff will realise their full potential. Our main campuses in the cities of Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough have been transformed with major capital investment. With an annual turnover of over £200m, we are a major force for higher education and one of the largest universities in the East of England.

About the role:

We’re developing a School of Medicine on our Chelmsford campus and have recently been entered into the General Medical Council quality assurance multi-year review process. The School will be based in a new £20million state of the art facility which includes a range of clinical skills areas and a cadaveric anatomy laboratory on our Chelmsford campus.

As a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Human Anatomy, you’ll lead the Anatomy Theme on the MBChB and coordinate this activity in the systems in practice phase. You’ll take day-to-day responsibility for the coordination of the Anatomy Theme, and contribute to teaching and related activities across a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the School of Medicine. In addition, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the curriculum development and delivery including the creation of materials for the virtual learning environment.

With a first degree and a PhD (or nearing completion for grade 5 lecturer), you’ll have experience of delivering an excellent student experience preferably in undergraduate medicine or an aligned discipline.
