The School won the Times Higher Education (THE) Best Business School of the Year award in 2013 and has experienced significant progress in its research activity placing it number 12 among UK Business Schools in terms of ‘research power’ (Association of Business Schools ranking, 2015) and in the top 20 in terms of ‘research intensity’ (THE ranking, 2015).

The Brunel Business School is looking to appoint two Tutoring Coordinators who will be responsible for the provision and delivery of student support across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. This is a student-facing role, designed around the varied needs of undergraduate and postgraduate business students studying our taught programmes.

Reporting to the Senior Tutor in the Business School, the primary aim of the role is to improve the overall student experience. This will be achieved by providing timely, relevant and effective student support to help students reach their full potential. In addition to providing support within the current framework the post holder is expected to identify and communicate best practice and improvement opportunities which have the potential to further enhance the student experience.

The successful candidate will hold a first degree or equivalent in the relevant subject area and have experience of personal tutoring to undergraduate and postgraduate students. You will be able to work as part of a team and independently and have the ability to coordinate and prioritise a range of activities effectively.
