Post-Doctoral Research Assistant

Applications are invited for the above post in the Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, based in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

The successful applicant will contribute to an EU Horizon 2020 Cleansky2 project that is concerned with the design and development of an aeronautical communications system. This particular post is focused on designing and developing security protocols, mechanisms and key management techniques potentially using homomorphic encryption in an aeronautical communications environment.

The successful applicant will have in-depth knowledge in network security, encryption and key management techniques. The applicant must have a PhD in an appropriate subject relevant to the post.
