Two-year fixed term contract.

Please note, this position is advertised on behalf of the University of Bradford, Dubai. The successful candidate will be issued with a local contract of employment based on Dubai labour law (not a UK contract). It is expected that where applicants are applying from outside the UAE, they have fully researched and considered a move to Dubai and are capable of relocating under their own steam in time for the start date of employment. Where required, support will be given to help obtain the necessary visa and one-way air fare will be paid for. No further relocation or housing support is offered. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the University of Bradford, Dubai. The position of Administration Assistant is part of our extended Directorate of External Affairs and involves working at our regional campus in Knowledge Village, Dubai. 

Based within the University of Bradford Dubai Campus Recruitment team, the post holder will be responsible for managing the day to day enquiries, answering calls, handling petty cash and all finance related tasks, support in country program delivery admin related tasks and dealing with outsourced companies.  

We are searching for candidates with experience of customer service, administration, finance and multi task individual who can be organised, meeting deadlines and work in a cross functional teams between UK and Dubai teams. The role would involve working over weekends.

The working hours are full-time on a fixed-term contract for two years. The University will offer a salary of 8,000 to 10,000 AED per month dependent on experience. Excellent private healthcare insurance (medical and dental) is also included.
