Research Data Manager

Durham University - Computing and Information Services

The Computing and Information Services (CIS) department at Durham University is looking to appoint a full time Research Data Manager. You will be responsible for delivering Research Data Management IT services, procedures, advice and training to support research data management across the institution.

You will work closely with key stakeholders, including the University Library, Research and Innovation Services and CIS technical leads to develop a strategic approach to the University’s RDM support infrastructure, at all stages of the research process.

You will have a good understanding of the research data lifecycle, excellent customer service skills, have a collaborative approach to service development, and demonstrate sound technical IT skills.

This is a permanent post.
