This newly created post is a key role, aiding the continued improvement of our exemplary practical assessment standards and processes thereby supporting our ongoing drive for excellence.

Working within the Leicester Medical School, you will join the Assessment Team at a crucial time. You will be a principal contact for the Assessment Team and will support the planning and delivery of OSCE assessments (clinical and non-clinical practical examinations), assuming deputy responsibilities as necessary. You will actively contribute to the improvement of these and other assessment events in collaboration with Assessment Team colleagues and academic Assessment Leads. You will also be responsible for improving the administrative systems within the Assessment Team office ensuring professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

As the ideal candidate you will have related work experience in a relevant education or healthcare role and significant working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. The post requires an individual who is well organised, can remain calm under pressure and is committed to continuous improvement.

Knowledge of medical and anatomical terminology and experience of event management would be beneficial.
