Who we are looking for:

This is an outstanding opportunity for a creative and entrepreneurial individual to drive forward STEM Learning’s impact and sustainability agendas. This is a key appointment, reporting to the Chief Executive, which will strengthen STEM Learning’s capacity to meet the challenges of our ever-changing environment, and continue to provide truly world-leading STEM education support.

You will bring vision, dynamic leadership, and effective management to our activities around research, horizon scanning and business development. You will ensure our communications strategy is able to meet the challenges ahead, consolidating and building further the reputation of STEM Learning as ‘the No 1 for STEM’ across the UK.

You will have a proven track record in engaging effectively with a wide range of stakeholders and managing complex activities, nationally and where appropriate, internationally. You will be comfortable working with schools, colleges, employers, Government, charitable foundations, industry bodies and others, using evidence to influence behaviour and developing strong long-term relationships. 

An excellent communicator with strong networking skills and the ability to strengthen STEM Learning’s capacity for innovation in its products, services and delivery, you will have a track record of engagement at senior levels. Whilst you may or may not come from the STEM education or skills environments, an understanding of the issues and a clear commitment to STEM Learning’s vision is vital for success.

The role will be based in STEM Learning’s London office, with regular travel to York.
