Astute East Administration Officer

You will be joining Cardiff University, one of the UK’s leading research led universities, as Administration Officer for the Cardiff element of the Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies East Wales (ASTUTE EAST) operation which has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government and the participating Higher Education Institutions.

The successful applicant will be joining Cardiff University, one of the UK’s leading research led universities, as an Administration Officer for the Cardiff element of the Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies East Wales (ASTUTE-EAST) operation, a ca. £8m consortium of three Welsh Universities (Swansea University, Cardiff University, & the University of South Wales).

The ASTUTE EAST Administration Officer will assist both the ASTUTE EAST-Cardiff team in providing comprehensive administrative support to the project team members, academic investigators and Local Management Team in ensuring that Cardiff successfully delivers on its agreed project targets on time, on budget and to an appropriate quality standard. The successful candidate will report directly to the Operation’s Senior Administrator.

You will be based primarily within the ASTUTE EAST Office at Cardiff University School of Engineering. The role will however require you to work effectively across the School of Engineering, Cardiff Business School and the School of Medicine as required.

This post is full time and fixed term until 31 March 2020.
