The School of Psychology at Cardiff University seeks to appoint a highly motivated researcher to work as a part-time (.6 full-time equivalent) Research Assistant for a 6-month post (February 2018 to July 2018). The post-holder will support a Leverhulme Trust examining the effects of mindfulness on attitudes and values, led by Professor Geoff Haddock.  The role will include working with a Research Associate on a longitudinal study assessing the impact of mindfulness training on attitudes and values.  The role will include research design, data collection, and data analysis, helping to conduct the research with a large sample of participants. This is an opportunity for an energetic researcher with appropriate interests and experience to develop research on an important topic, while acquiring additional skills and expertise.

This post is part-time (21 hours per week), fixed-term from February 2018 until July 2018, and available immediately.

Salary £26,495 - £30,688 per annum, pro-rata for hours worked (Grade 5)
