Student Welfare Adviser

University of Liverpool - Student Administration and Support, Student Welfare and Guidance

We are seeking to recruit an experienced individual to support our diverse student population with a range of pastoral issues.  Duties include: being a first point of contact for students who require general, specific or immediate support on a range of welfare and support issues, to include serious incidents and crisis situations.  You will be required to manage a large caseload of students, liaise with appropriate internal and external partners and be able to produce agreed support plans with individual students.

You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience).  Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and administrative skills are essential. The ability to deal with sensitive and difficult matters in a calm and professional manner are key to this role.
