The role reports to IBSS Dean or his/her designation.

Job Description

  1. Develop tailor-made business school recruitment strategy and implementation plan for IBSS;
  2. Establish and support institutional relations with business schools in China;
  3. Focus on follow-up of application and application enquiry and achieving high level of conversion rates of business school’s applicants, in close co-operation with registry;
  4. Develop taster days for potential applicants and parents to visit the School;
  5. Develop network of the School’s student’s ambassadors to support recruitment;
  6. Support the development and training of faculty attending recruitment fairs;
  7. Set up training and other information channels with Programme Directors to ensure up to day course information;
  8. Represent IBSS at student recruitment fairs in China and overseas if required;
  9. Manage social media campaigns to promote IBSS programmes in collaboration with UMC, ISRS, SACDO.

Person Specification

  1. Native-level English, and fluent in Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
  2. Experience of working, studying, or travelling inside and outside China.
  3. Deep experience with social media for student recruitment and marketing purposes.
  4. Ability and willingness to travel frequently and independently (often alone and sometimes during national holidays) mostly inside China. Ability to self-manage visits.
  5. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Good organisation and coordination skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. A good knowledge of educational systems globally and proven track record in working with young adults.
  8. Fluent in both English and Chinese is essential, and other languages are desirable.
