Part Time (0.5fte) Fixed term from (January – June 2018)


INTO is an organisation working in partnership with leading British Universities and investing in the development of world-class international student centres. It specialises in preparing students for undergraduate and postgraduate study in the UK.  INTO Centres deliver guaranteed progression to leading British undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Each Centre is managed by a joint venture management board on which INTO and the partner university are equal shareholders.

INTO University of Stirling is recruiting teachers to teach Accounting on the following Levels:

SCQF Level 7 – Accounting

SCQF Level 8 – Accounting and Finance

These will be fixed term appointments to run initially from January to June 2018.


The candidate will be expected to have a strong record as an excellent teacher, be passionate and fully committed to maximising the achievement of every student. The successful candidate will also be expected to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have high expectations of themselves and others and be flexible and willing to work effectively as part of a team.

Essential criteria

  • An appropriate qualification in the subject area
  • Teaching experience in a relevant HE, FE or school setting
  • An ability to contribute to all levels of teaching
  • The desire and flexibility to contribute to teaching on Accounting modules across INTO programmes, as appropriate.
  • Eligibility to work in and travel freely to and from the UK, e.g. valid UK or EC passport


Band D £25,979 - £35,148 pro rata per annum, depending on skills, qualifications and experience.
