Professional Teaching Fellow

University of Auckland, New Zealand - Faculty of Science - Department of Exercise Sciences

Permanent, part-time position (0.5 FTE)

The successful appointee will have a postgraduate degree in Exercise Sciences or related discipline and a commitment to high-quality, research-informed teaching. Applicants from any field within Exercise Sciences are strongly encouraged to apply. An interest in exercise physiology and clinical exercise physiology is desired. Tertiary teaching experience will be an advantage. The appointment will be made at Professional Teaching Fellow, Level 1. The appointees will be expected to teach courses primarily at undergraduate level with the possibility of contributing to postgraduate teaching in their specialist area. The appropriate appointee will be encouraged to enrol in a part-time PhD programme concurrently. The capability to contribute to departmental service is important.

This is a part-time, permanent position in the Department of Exercise Sciences currently located on the University of Auckland's Tamaki Innovation Campus in Glen Innes and soon to relocate to new premises on the New Market Campus.
