Programme Administrator

Oxford Brookes University - Oxford Brookes Business School

The Oxford Brookes Business School are looking to appoint a Programme Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to programmes within the Business School.

You will be:

  • Utilising University systems to maintain programme, student and enquirer information
  • Providing administrative support and contributing to formal programme committees/meetings, examination committees, annual reviews and other associated meetings for relevant programmes
  • Providing advice and support to students on matters relating to their programme
  • Providing an effective enquiry response, managing all relevant telephone, email, face-to-face and postal enquiries relating to the programmes from students, staff, stakeholders and visitors
  • Responsible for Faculty-based elements of student recruitment.

You should have:

  • A Levels or equivalent experience
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Ability to work using own initiative and work collaboratively to achieve team goals
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills
  • Strong written and oral skills
  • Ability to draft concise notes and minutes from complex discussions
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with respect to staff and student information.
