Founded in 1845 as Queen’s College Belfast, we became an independent university in 1908. Today, we’re a member of the Russell Group, combining excellence in research and education with a student-centred ethos.

The School comprises circa 150 academic and support staff with 420 students undertaking PhD and Masters Programmes and over 1,200 undergraduates across our degree pathways.

There are strong links with a wide range of industries in the form of collaborative projects and student placements. The curriculum is also supported by our Public Facing events and world-class facilities.

This four year, part time (22.2 hours per week) post is available to work with the Music Pathways Committee to design and implement an ambitious programme of recruitment initiatives to enhance the application rates for the music degrees at QUB.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a degree qualification in a relevant subject.
  • Have demonstrable understanding of our current UG provision in Music.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience of developing marketing material and activities to promote events.
  • Be able to analyse and interpret data.
  • Be a proficient user of MS Office packages and experience of generating and updating website and social media content.

Salary scale: £27,285 - £31,604 per annum (potential to progress to £34,520 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution)
