Salary: £22,494 to £26,829 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Student Services Senior Administrator - based at Sutton Bonington Campus

The University has transformed the delivery of student administration and support with four new teams working from our newly refurbished Service Centres and dedicated spaces across our UK campuses. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Student Services team in Sutton Bonington.

Applications are invited for a Senior Administrator to deliver Programme Administration support (including PGR) to students and academics in the Schools of Biosciences and Veterinary Medicine and Science, as well as supporting other colleagues across the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences as part of a wider team. Additionally, you'll be responsible for line managing a small team of administrators as well as providing an excellent face to face service to students in our busy Student Services Centre. 

The successful candidate will be highly enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the ability to manage their own workload with minimum supervision. They will have an excellent eye for detail and will be experienced in delivering a high quality administrative support to students and staff. Ideally they will have experience of line managing or supervising staff, and the ability to react appropriately to changing priorities. Excellent customer service skills are essential. 

Hours of work for this post are 36.25 per week, normally 9am to 5.15 pm Monday to Friday inclusive (with a one hour lunch break). Given the nature of the role, there are times when annual leave may be restricted and/or with prior notice, additional working may be required.
