PDRA for Human Robot Interaction/Human Computer Interaction/Multimodal Systems with Explainable AI (3 posts)

The research programme of the hub will investigate intelligent interaction and interfaces including trust and explainable AI for autonomous systems. We will be designing multimodal interfaces for users who will be in high workload, high stakes environments, as well as techniques for human-machine teaming through natural language interaction.

We are looking for 3 full-time roles with an initial contract of 1 year, and with the possibility of renewal twice.

These specific roles include:

Role A: Multimodal and spoken dialogue systems, including Natural Language Processing and Natural Language Generation, for adaptive human-machine interaction with Explainable AI

Role B: Human-Computer Interaction with data visualisation for Explainable AI

Role C: Human-Computer Interaction with a focus on adaptive user interfaces exploring cognitive load and sensing; human-machine teaming

Essential Qualifications: PHD
