Study Coordinator

The Epidemiology Group, Institute of Applied Health Sciences is looking to appoint a Study Coordinator to the British Society for Rheumatology Biologics Register in Psoriatic Arthritis (BSRBR-PsA).

The successful applicant will be highly motivated with experience in running multi-centre observational epidemiological studies surveys and / or randomised controlled trials. Knowledge and experience of research governance procedures for the conduct of such studies is expected. In addition, candidates should have the ability to work both as part of a team, and independently. Under the direction of the chief investigator, the post-holder will be responsible for preparing regulatory documents, preparing and seeking approvals for amendments to the study protocol, training recruitment centres, providing regulatory reports, monitoring recruitment and assisting with quality assurance procedures. Time management, attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential.

You should possess a good honours degree (2i or higher) in a relevant discipline, or equivalent professional experience and demonstrable understanding of Good Clinical Practice.

Salary will be paid on the Grade 6 salary scale (£32,548 per annum).

As this post is funded by the British Society of Rheumatology it will be available until 30 September 2022. This appointment will be made subject to the usual terms and conditions of employment of the University.
