Postdoctoral Research Associate in MRI Reconstruction and Machine Learning

The salary will be paid at Grade 5 £32,548 or Grade 6, £33,518 - £39,992 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 3 years

This is a Full-time – 100% full time equivalent

The post holder is expected to be part of a team working to develop novel acquisition, reconstruction and motion correction techniques for 3D free-breathing whole-heart Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The post holder will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing reconstruction and machine learning techniques for multi-contrast 3D cardiac MRI, and designing and running validation experiments in phantoms, volunteers and patients. The post will use the infrastructure provided by the School of Biomedical Engineering and Imaging Sciences and will be based at St Thomas’ Hospital.
