Applications are invited for a full-time Research Assistant position to work on the Procas-2 project (manchester.ac.uk/mash).

You will assist the qualitative team within this project. The main duties of this post will include: qualitative interviews, qualitative data analysis and assisting with the recruitment of women who do not engage with breast cancer screening. You will contribute to the production of reports and high quality research articles to be published in peer reviewed journals. You will also work collaboratively as part of the Procas-2 qualitative team as necessary to meet data collection and project deadlines.

You will have a degree in Psychology and be educated to MSc level. You will have advanced qualitative knowledge, familiarity with qualitative software (e.g. Nvivo) and experience of conducting interviews and thematic analysis. A higher degree with training in qualitative methods and/or experience of working with women who have been invited to take part in breast cancer screening would be an advantage.
