Teaching Fellow

Part-time (0.5FTE 18.75 hours per week) open ended contract subject to fixed term funding. Funding is available for three years.

We wish to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic teaching fellow to undertake high quality work in cognate areas across the discipline of Psychology, inspiring interest, curiosity and a drive for learning in our students. You will undertake teaching and teaching-related administration to support the work of the school and to develop and enhance its reputation, both internally and externally to the University.

In this role you will be involved in all aspects of teaching. This will include assisting with the development of the curriculum, preparing course materials, delivering lectures, seminars and tutorials, setting examination papers and providing feedback to students. You will also act as a personal tutor to undergraduate students, providing academic guidance and pastoral support.

As the ideal candidate you will hold a PhD in Applied Psychology with a commitment to delivering high quality teaching. Prior experience of teaching to postgraduate students or final year undergraduate level would be beneficial, but is not essential.
