McIntosh-Patterson PhD Studentship

The University of Edinburgh - Angus McIntosh Centre for Historical Linguistics

We invite applications by Friday 16th March 2018 for a fully-funded, three-year PhD studentship at the Angus McIntosh Centre for Historical Linguistics, starting September 2018 (or very shortly thereafter). The successful applicant’s primary research focus is expected to be on any aspect of historical linguistics that is within the expertise of the staff of Linguistics and English Language at Edinburgh. We would be interested to see applications involving lexicography or historical Scots but this is by no means a prerequisite to a successful application.

Information regarding current research interests in Linguistics and English Language is available on our website: http://edin.ac/2DtlQ7C
