Minimum Requirement for applicants

  1. Applicants should abide by Chinese national laws and regulations, be innovative and dedicated.
  2. Applicants must work at full time in the school.

Preferred Areas of Specialization
Pure Mathematics; Computational Mathematics; Applied Mathematics; Operations Research and Cybernetics; Probability theory and mathematical Statistics; Interdisciplinary Mathematics (Big Data, etc.)

Position and Treatment
Academic openings and the corresponding benefits for full-time faculty whose first term of appointment is five years or above are as follows:

Great Master in Mathematical Sciences
The appointees should be highly recognized scholars of mathematics at home and abroad, including Nobel prize winners, Fields Medal winners or other international awards winners, Chinese Academy of Sciences or Chinese Academy of Engineering academicians, or other great masters of mathematics with equivalent scholarship and influence at home and abroad.

The appointees will receive salaries, subsidies, start-up research funds and benefits offered by the national, the local provincial and municipal governments and Dalian University of Technology, as well as adequate living subsidies and post allowances offered by JT Foundation.
