Faculty within the School operate in five subject groups (Economics; Finance and Accounting; Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship; Work, Organisation and Management; Marketing and Operations) but adopt a distinctive, highly collaborative approach, working in interdisciplinary teams which span the School and University.

The Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship group is now seeking to appoint two new colleagues in Strategic Management at the level of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer / Reader. Candidates for posts at the Lecturer level (Grade 8) will possess a relevant PhD, or be close to completion of a PhD, and an embryonic track record of publications in world-leading or internationally-excellent journals. For appointment at the Senior Lecturer / Reader (Grade 9) level, candidates will have an existing track record of top-level publications, and for the Reader post demonstrate significant leadership in their field. In both cases, candidates will be able to evidence future research plans demonstrating a capacity to sustain and extend the existing high level of output.

Senior Lecturer and Reader candidates will also be expected to demonstrate a successful teaching track record. Lecturer candidates will be expected to have demonstrated at least a willingness to teach and an interest in module delivery, and are likely to have undertaken some teaching duties at undergraduate or postgraduate level. The School seeks excellence in all aspects of the student experience and for individuals with a passion for innovative pedagogies and the capacity to create and deliver new and highly contemporary modules.
