Mental Wellbeing Project Officer

Full-time, fixed-term for 12 months

The Directorate of Student Services are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic person to join the new Counselling and Mental Wellbeing Team based at Brunel University London.

The Mental Wellbeing Project Officer will be expected to carry out research on mental health interventions and activities for students on campus and provide specialist advice, guidance and information to students and staff with mental health difficulties.

The successful applicant should have significant experience of working with adults with varied mental health conditions and substantial knowledge of the support requirements for disabled students.

You should have a degree or equivalent in an appropriate field and evidence of relevant professional qualification/training relating to mental health. You will also be expected to have high levels of literacy and numeracy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

An essential requirement is for the successful applicant to satisfy the requirements of checks by the Disclosure & Barring Service.
