Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Secondary Mathematics Education)

This is a fixed term two year full-time opportunity for a suitably qualified mathematics educator to join the secondary mathematics education team at Manchester Met. You will teach across all the ITE programmes: PGCE, School Direct, BSc secondary mathematics education, and subject knowledge enhancement course (24 and 28 weeks). You will also contribute to other off-site bespoke provision as required, and will be involved in working with Masters students.

You will have at least a Masters degree in education, along with experience of working with student teachers and supporting the professional development of practising teachers in secondary school. You will have excellent knowledge and understanding of mathematics pedagogy and the role of subject knowledge in effective practice.
