Research Assistant/ Service User Researcher for the ENRICH programme

We are seeking to employ a researcher who is interested in using their own lived experience of mental distress and/ or use of mental health services in their work as a Service User Researcher.

This is an exciting 5 year programme grant, funded by the National Institute of National Research (NIHR) investigating Peer Support for discharge from inpatient to community care. The post-holder will be a key member of the Surrey and Borders Partnership Trust site team. The research is led from St. George’s, University of London who work alongside researchers from a number of universities and mental health Trusts nationally.

Having successfully piloted the ENRICH Peer Support for Discharge intervention, the post-holder will assist setup, and undertake recruitment and data collection in the Surrey study site as part of the full trial, as well as being involved in all aspects of the research programme. Data will be collected using standardised questionnaires as well as in-depth interviews with participants and staff. The researcher will also contribute to qualitative analysis, and to the set up the study’s online profile.

The salary for the role will be within the SGUL Grade 5 range: £25,728 - £31,604 pro rata.
