Research Coordinator (12-month FTC) (0.6 FTE)

The British Academy

The British Academy – the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences – is seeking a part-time Research Coordinator to join our team for a 1-year FTC post to coordinate the first phase of the Future of the Corporation research programme.

The post holder will work closely with the Project Manager based at the British Academy and the Academic Lead, based at the Saïd Business School to coordinate the research programme ensuring that all contracts, deadlines for deliverables are met, and researchers have access to smooth coordination between the various research chapters in the programme. Additionally, they will assist in the arrangement and delivery of events (electronic and in-person) to facilitate exchange of ideas within the Future of the Corporation research community.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable understanding of the landscape of UK higher education, not to mention experience of administration and operational planning and delivery, with the ability to work independently and effectively. They will be an organised individual who can communicate at all levels and will have the ability to co-ordinate a variety of researchers, contracts and research events drawing in all research stakeholders.
