As part of Future Students, UWE’s newly established Global Centre will act as a hub for support available to international students transitioning to UWE, promote international opportunities for all UWE students, bring together a number of international projects and act as a welcome point for international visitors by showcasing our international activity.

To support this activity, we have vacancies for two Global Development Officers.

These roles will provide essential administration support for UWE’s Global Centre, ensuring delivery of a professional service through work load management. These roles will work across a number of key areas of activity including English language support and short courses, support of international students and the development of global projects, networks and opportunities.

The Global Development Officers will need to provide support and advice to key stakeholders, manage small scale projects, monitor activity and produce reports.

This will be a student and staff facing role, therefore the role holder needs to have experience of delivering an excellent customer service.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate a broad based administrative experience in a large organisation, workload prioritisation and have excellent IT skills. Additional language skills, especially Mandarin or Cantonese, would be of benefit.
