Location: Kings Meadow Campus
Salary: £50,618 to £60,410 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The Widening Participation and Outreach team, comprising three sections - widening participation, student recruitment events and schools and colleges liaison - is part of the Student Recruitment Division within External Relations. The team is responsible for on and off-campus widening participation and outreach activity including the University's open days and offer-holder days.  

The role holder will be responsible for leading and developing the team to meet the aims within the University's Strategy 2020. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the preparation and monitoring of the University's access agreement.

We are looking for someone who has excellent leadership qualities, is educated to degree level and who has extensive experience of operating in a widening participation or student recruitment environment within Higher Education.

To be successful in this role you will require strong leadership and planning skills, be delivery-focused and have an excellent ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders. You will be a collaborative team player with high levels of integrity and loyalty and proven experience of achieving targets and key performance indicators.
