Clinical Senior Lecturer in Neurology

King's College London - Basic and Clinical Neuroscience

The salary will be paid at the Clinical Consultant Grade £76,761 to £103,490 per annum, plus £2,162 per annum London Allowance.

Clinical academic neurologists are invited to apply for the role of Clinical Senior Lecturer within the Headache Group, Department of Basic and Clinical Neuroscience, Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience at King’s College London. 

The appointee will join one of the world’s leading academic groups carrying out research on Headache. They will also be appointed as an honorary consultant neurologist within the Neurology service at King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. 

The successful candidate will carry out research and teaching within the Department of Basic and Neurosciences. The appointee will be encouraged to develop their own area of research interest and will also have the opportunity to join projects that are part of the ongoing research programme in the department. The successful candidate will also play a leading clinical role as an honorary consultant neurologist within a busy, tertiary referral, headache service.

As an honorary consultant neurologist, the appointee will join the ongoing expansion of the headache service in the King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will join a multi-disciplinary clinical team.

The selection process will include a panel interview.

Interviews are scheduled to be held on the mornings of the 4th and 5th April 2018
