Based at Atom Bank in Durham, you will lead a Knowledge Transfer Partnership project to develop an understanding of advanced block chain techniques to realise a digital transformation in the Finance sector through the development of an interactive decision support tool.

You should hold an MSc in Computer Science or a strong first class MComp with a background in distributed computing and related algorithms is preferred, suitable candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree will also be considered.

You will have good interpersonal, communication and team working skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Personal motivation, drive, good planning, organisation skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines are essential.

The KTP Associate will be an employee of Newcastle University but will spend most of their working time at the company’s premises in Durham.

This position is fixed term for a duration of 30 months.
