Senior Research Assistant in Electrical Engineering and E-mobility

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in the area of electrical engineering and e-mobility. The successful candidate will conduct research on electrical vehicles and their interaction with the environment. This will lead to the development and demonstration of business models for electrical vehicles in order to promote electric transportation, support the grid, increase use of renewable energy in city mobility and provide a new green energy infrastructure “vehicle-4-energy-services”. This position is funded by a research project grant from EU Interreg North Sea Region “Smart, clean Energy and Electric Vehicles 4 the City (SEEV4-City)” and involves 10 EU partners. Electrical vehicles, renewable energy sources and their interaction with the power grid and the environment together with enabling ICT-services are the core of SEEV4-City project. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of electrical engineering, e-mobility and relevant technical, economic, policy and social aspects. Experience in battery technologies, information & communication technologies, data mining would also be beneficial. Applicants must hold a good first degree and PhD degree, or close to completion, in electrical engineering, e-mobility or a relevant discipline.
