Salary £49,149 to £56,950 per annum (pro rata if part time), together with USS pension benefits if required.

The normal expectation is that the successful applicant will be appointed to the minimum of the agreed scale with annual increments on 1 October each year (subject to completing six months service).

Main Purpose
Swansea University Medical School is seeking an experienced, dynamic academic, at Associate Professor level, to lead the Medical School’s through GPhC accreditation and to develop and act as Programme Director for a new MPharm course.

Our aim is to develop a course that will meet the current and future needs of the pharmacy profession, inspire and attract students, meet the requirements of the General Pharmaceutical Council, and serve the needs of local community. The curriculum will incorporate inter‐professional learning, public and patient involvement, enhanced placement learning and clinical skills to form a programme that is at the vanguard of pharmacy education and practice. 

It is our ambition to help students become pharmacists who are leaders in their profession, be that through the clinical management of patients, the creation of new medicines or through improved community health.
