E-Learning Officer

Job Purpose

To develop, implement and maintain the use of e-learning systems in the School for both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. This will involve supporting academic staff (and students) across the School and affiliated Institutes who use e-learning technology to enhance their learning and teaching. Success will be achieved by means of providing direct support in the use of e-learning technologies, appropriate dissemination events, production of resources, active promotion of the potential benefits of using technology, and building networks related to the use of e-learning technologies with relevant staff across the University.

Standard Terms & Conditions

Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 7, £34,520 - £38,833 per annum.

This post is full time and is open ended.

New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.

The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
