Senior Lecturer in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the University of Bolton to lead a number of established professionally accredited degree programmes that run at our International Partner Centres, and develop associated research and enterprise activities.

The Off-Campus Division are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Lecturer or Reader to the position of programme leader for the MSc in Supply Chain Management (accredited by CIPS and CILT), and BSc (Hons) Logistics and Supply Chain (Accredited by CILT). Both programmes run at international partner centres, including Malawi Institute of Management, InService Training Trust (Zambia), Institute of Development Management (Botswana) and SCM Professional Centre (Malaysia).

Logistics and Supply Chain Management is also an area highlighted for strategic development in our Institute of Management in Bolton with a number of potential developments with local and national employers, including enterprise and associated with the degree apprenticeship agenda.

Candidates should possess a PhD (for the Readership level appointment – or be close to completion for SL) and hold a relevant teaching qualification and/or fellowship status of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), or willing to obtain fellowship, and/or credible and extensive industrial experience/publication record in the specific subject area.
