Six Full-Time PhD Studentships

The School of Business is pleased to announce six full-time PhD Studentships. Suitable applications are encouraged from Home/EU and international students (outside the EU). The studentships are for three years and include a stipend of £14,777. A fee waiver that would cover Home/EU fees or International fees (as appropriate) is also included. Successful applicants are, further entitled to a Research Training Support Grant of £750 per annum to finance their research activities.

The School of Business at the University of Leicester is renowned for the quality of its rigorous and creative research often addressing underrepresented areas. We welcome applications from those interested in contributing to any of the following fields: economics, accounting, finance; marketing and consumption; organization studies; regional studies; science, technology, innovation and operations; work and employment. Our students draw on many of the different fields of business as well as on anthropology, cultural studies, economics, geography, physics and mathematics, science and technology studies, sociology, politics, philosophy and psychology amongst other disciplines in undertaking their research.

Closing date for applications: midnight 25th March 2018. Interviews are provisionally scheduled for mid- April 2018. If candidates are living outside the UK then the interview will be by Skype.
