As part of Campus and Accommodation Services the Sports department provides extensive high quality facilities on the Hull Campus catering for the needs of students, staff, and community. The department has a reputation of delivering first class sport services both on the main campus and halls of residences. Facilities include fitness suites, sports halls, exercise studios, and an array of outside grass and artificial sport surfaces. The department has seen significant investment in facilities situated at the lawns incorporating a newly built fitness suite and artificial floodlit multiuse games area.

We are now seeking additional enthusiastic fitness instructors to join our fitness team. Working on a casual basis, you will need to be flexible and may be required to cover colleagues at short notice. The successful applicants will assist in delivering a first class fitness service to meet the need of our varied customer base, carrying inductions, delivering fitness classes, fitness advice, and ensuring the success of our fitness operation both at the newly built Lawns fitness suite and main sports and fitness centre.

The successful applicants will have a real passion and drive for sport and recreation, be customer focused, committed to delivering excellent service, and be ambassadors in promoting and developing the sporting offer for the department. The successful applicants will ideally have relevant experience within the health and fitness / leisure industry with a recognised qualification in fitness delivery.
